The short version
Vibecope has no server, no analytics, no telemetry. The only data that leaves your Mac goes to Claude's API — on your subscription — for prompt analysis. We never see it.
What Vibecope reads
Vibecope reads Claude's local log files and cache stored on your Mac. This data never leaves your machine except when Vibecope sends a lightweight analysis request to the Claude API — using your own Claude subscription, not ours.
What Vibecope stores
All data Vibecope creates (your prompt journal, vocabulary profile, coaching history) is stored locally in a SQLite database on your Mac. This data is never uploaded anywhere.
What Vibecope sends
The only network calls Vibecope makes are to the Claude API (api.anthropic.com) on your behalf, using your own subscription. These calls contain a lightweight summary of your prompt for analysis. Vibecope does not add any tracking, identifiers, or metadata to these requests.
What we collect
Nothing. Vibecope has no server, no user accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no telemetry. We do not know who you are, what you prompt, or how you use the app.
Purchase data
Your purchase is processed by LemonSqueezy. They collect your email and payment information to complete the transaction and deliver your license. We receive your email address to provide support and deliver updates. We do not share it with anyone.
Third parties
Vibecope does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third-party service involved is Anthropic's Claude API, which you are already using independently of Vibecope.
Your rights
Since we don't collect your data, there is nothing to delete. If you uninstall Vibecope, all local data is removed with it. If you want your email removed from our LemonSqueezy records, contact us and we will process the request.
